Triple Eight Distribution has signed Octagon represented athletes Elliot Sloan and Adam Taylor to its pro skateboarding team.   As part of the deal, each athlete will receive his own pro model helmet to be debuted at the 2008 ASR tradeshow.

Taylor, who is coming off of a 3rd place finish at the AST Tour stop in China and a 5th at the first round of the Dew Tour, is one of the most talented up and coming vert skaters to hit the pro scene in recent years.  “I’m stoked to be with Triple Eight and looking forward to my pro helmet coming out and hitting stores in the spring,” say the 18 year old.

“I have been wearing Triple 8 helmets for almost 10 years now and I would never wear anything else,” says Sloan. “They make the best helmets, have the best colors to choose from, the team is awesome, and they are from New York.....What else could I ask for in a sponsor?”

While their pro helmets are in the works, both Sloan and Taylor will be traveling to all the major contests on tour representing Triple Eight.  “Both Adam and Elliot round out an already impressive pro team of Anthony Furlong and Neal Hendrix,” says National Marketing Manager Carter Olcott, “and both of them will help support T8 as a leader in action sports protective gear for all levels of athletes, including the best athletes in the world.” Look for Sloan and Taylor at all of the Dew Action Sports Tour stops, X Games, as well as international competition.
