The Triple Eight family continues to grow with the latest addition of Peter Huynh as its Product Development/Brand Manager. An avid street skateboarder, Peter was one of the few East Coast riders for Hosoi’s Milk Skateboards and Dogtown Wheels from 1991-1994. After graduating from Parsons School of Design, Peter got his start working for the Arnell Group and then subsequently Calvin Klein designing product and assisting in brand development. He has since spent time acting as an Art Direction/Design Consultant for companies such as Gravis Footwear, Nike Skateboarding, Burton Snowboards, Incase and DC Shoes. In addition, he is the Creator & Co-founder of the New York skateboarding and streetwear company, UXA.
“I am very excited about this opportunity to work with the Triple Eight team.” said Huynh, “I believe Triple Eight has the potential to be an unparalleled protective gear brand in the Action Sports segment. As such, I am super inspired to contribute to the development and expansion of the Triple Eight collection.”
Peter will look to leverage his previous experience along with his deep roots in the New York Skateboarding scene as he manages & grows our product line and oversees the creative direction of our brand as a whole.
“We’re really excited to have Peter join the Triple Eight team,” said Triple Eight President, Bobby Oppenheim. “His breadth of design, product and industry experience will be tremendous as we continue to grow and expand our position as the leading action sports protective gear company.”
Needless to say, we’re stoked to have Peter join the crew.
