I’ve gone through two Sweatsavers the past four years but they were the non-certified models. I like the look and the sleekness to them. After watching a buddy take a gnarly slam and knock himself out recently I immediately went online the next morning to Triple8’s website and ordered a Certified Tony Hawk Sweatsaver. Once I got it I quickly put it to the test because within the first two weeks I took a heavy slam doing a Rock and Roll on a vert ramp. Went straight to flat and led with my head unfortunately. I got my bell rung but honestly I was completely coherent and not phased at all. Although the brim of the helmet met my face with the impact and gave me a little gash on the bridge of my nose. Other than that I was completely okay and popped right back up. The certified helmet did its job and I am very grateful for that. Triple8 hooked me up with another promo code to get a replacement since that Tony Hawk model is done for. I went with the Elliot Sloan model this time and those graphics are 🔥. Due to my multiple concussions playing football in college where I had back to back concussions and had a few in high school I am very thankful Triple8 makes a superior helmet that really saves lives. I will not give up skateboarding so it’s good to know this company makes products that work. Thank you!
Got this as a gift for my girlfriend who wanted to pickup rollerblading after a 15 year hiatus. Glad I did as the helmet proved to be needed and she loves the design and padding it offers.
My daughter was not looking forward to wearing a helmet until we found this one! She asked to check the mail every day, and shipping was super fast. This helmet is so pretty and the sweat band is awesome since we live in Texas! Definitely recommend Triple8!!!!
90s kid here. Never wore helmets, thought they were goofy as hell. Now as a mom I want to be a good example...so I got some for the family. They're comfy, look cool, and we're excited to wear em. Win win WIN.
This is an incredibly high quality helmet and the fit is great. I'm super excited to start using it for Roller Derby. Functionally, it is way superior to the helmet I've been using and I feel like my noggin will be better protected.
